Need to get it to Colorado. Is there a way to bypass the Tcc solenoid.
What makes this problem better or worse?

Only problem is if you do that the torque converter will have some slippage which can overheat the transmission fluid which in turn overheats the transmission itself.. The OLDER models were different and you could just unplug the harness connector.. However on this transmission you can’t do that nor cut the solenoid wire without risk. It might last a very long time OR it may not - I can’t say. You can disconnect the connector for test purposes - see if engine stalls when trans is shifted into gear. I’d try to get the solenoid replaced just to be on the safe side.. Good luck 🍀
Another thing to consider is the fix as it is right now will be a lot less expensive than if the transmission gets damaged by attempting to bypass the lockup solenoid.. I can not say for sure what might happen - might last a long time. Of course the decision is entirely yours.
