Bought used and in 3 years I've had to replace squeaking alternator, is there some other issue thats causing the alternator failures
How long has your 1998 Buick Regal had this problem?
Reoccurring over last 3 years
The drive belt is automatically tensioned so can’t blame it on over-tensioning.. Just a defective alternator bearing is my guess. NAPA has high quality replacement parts .. Yes - they are a ‘little more’ expensive .. AND worth every penny of it!
