What is your question?
I just bought a 2009 Buick Lucerne CXL. The day I bought it I took it for a drive, and the AC was working great. I wanted to go for a drive that night, got in it, and the AC would only blow warm air. Took it to the dealer, they fixed the AC and checked everything related to AC. I told them about the leaking on the passenger side floorboard, and they assured me they flushed the lines. Got it back and the AC is working now, but the leaking persists. What are the possible causes of this leak? If they checked everything and and flushed the drainage line, I'm at a loss. Side note: they told me the AC stopped blowing cold because the compressor clutch fuse kept blowing. They had to replace the compressor because it was overloading the circuit with too many amps. Now that's fixed but it's still leaking. What could be the cause?
What makes this problem better or worse?
It seems to mainly leak in spurts, when it's real hot outside, and when I activate the air conditioned seats. Then it kind of drips out and forms a puddle on the floorboard.
How long has your 2009 Buick Lucerne had this problem?
A few days (since I bought the car on September 9th)
Water should drip onto ground at a steady pace - IF this is not the case - return to dealer for repair completion.. Can check another vehicle (a/c on) for visual comparison of water drainage if needed. Good luck!
Thanks for the advice! :) I will check and see if it's coming out underneath the car...if it is then maybe I can eliminate clogged drainage line as a possible cause. Tomorrow (Monday), I'm going to notify the dealer that it is still leaking inside. I'm happy the A/C is still working, but the inside leaking concerns me that there's another bad problem needing to be fixed. It is just my luck to have a newly purchased car with problems. I haven't had very good luck with vehicles...ever. lol thanks a lot for taking the time to respond! :)
