What is your question?
coolant leak on engine under lower radiator hose right next to water pump. Water pump and hoses have both been replaced. Leak is coming from the block itself right between them.
What makes this problem better or worse?
doesn't seem to leak when cold, only at operating temp
How long has your 2007 Buick Lucerne had this problem?
a week

Don't see an engine size but IF it's the 3.8L - Use the link below and watch the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naSeiPZi5Ts You'll need tools & skills OR get some hands on help.
I replace those coolant elbows on the tensioner bracket already (What a marvelous design BTW!) , also water pump and both radiator hoses. The leak is between the water pump and the lower radiator hose connector.
Only thing left is to ‘pinpoint’ the leak - pressure test system + use video scope - flashlight and inspection mirror etc.. .. Maybe even some UV sensitive dye and UV light .. That’s about all we can suggest online. Coolant leaks can be very deceiving -> leak is actually over there - but it shows up here... Yeah - those heater hose connections (elbows) were indeed a real stroke of genius! Good luck with it!
OK, leak is where the radiator hose attaches to the block. Not the hose, but between the fitting that it attaches to and the block. What all do I have to remove to get to that?
Well now that’s the engine timing cover - it is a pretty big job to do that repair! ... You should consider finding some hands on help. Might find a helpful video on YouTube - we can’t post any images and it wouldn’t be practical to type out the procedure.
