My ABS (automatic braking system) off light came on along with the "traction off

That's the Antilock Brake System and it needs a scan test to find the trouble!... Not to expensive to have it tested, can't say for the actual fix!... You should consider having it repaired as it is very handy when a panic stop is needed on a wet road!!!! Both the Traction Control and the ABS work in unison!!
