just happened on highway rattling sounds occurred within 2 miles lose of power and engine shut off, lots of smoke from engine under hood. 15 mins later car started right up got off highway after 2 miles shutoff again
What makes this problem better or worse?
Was driving on highway startyed hearing rattle noise within 2 miles car shutoff

There is no safety mechanism present to protect the engine from overheating .. The dash instrumentation cluster should be periodically monitored by the operator as to prevent internal engine damage .. Which WILL certainly occur if overheating continues ..
The reason the engine shut down is the result of excessive overheating!
The engine simply *can not* operate while *excessive* internal temperatures.are present .. That is not a safety cut off!!
