There many possible causes for engine stalling, most of then are electrical. Is the check engine/service engine soon light come on? Have you had computer scanned for any current or history fault codes?
Usually a situation like this needs to be duplicated by the shop. A shop will need to know some specifics so they can duplicate the issue and get down to the root cause. Be prepared to tell a shop when this occurs most i.e. only when hot, after coming out from the store and the car has sat for an hour (known as a hot soak), when I approach the first stop sign after starting the car first thing in the morning, only on a half a tank, etc. Finally, a well equipped shop will be able to test certain components to find the issue you are having. I hope this helps.
I had the same problem, turned out to be the "crankshaft position sensor"was going out and needed replacement!
no I haven't but have change the fuel filter and its getting plenty of pressure on the front end of the filter.
