I just got a 97 Buick lesabre limited with 48.000mi and it won't run. Why?

I just drove the car home (over an hour drive) and turned the car off, awhile later I tryied to start it but it would not run. The car has new spark plugs, new fule pump, and a two year old battery. The igniter works and there is spark, it sounds like it is not getting fule but the tank is half full. The car was sitting for months at the lot and I don't know how long it has had the same gas. Is the gas sluggish and if so how do I fix it? Could it also be the fule filter? The engin is turning over but will not run. I was thinking it was the anti-theft but the theft light is not on.
