Set OBD code P0606 two consecutive times. Third start, code cleared by itself. Do I replace PCM or wait it out till it sets permanently?

On first start Traction Control light came on plus Check Engine light. TC light did not come on after the first start. On the third start no lights came on. On the forth start no lights came on. Drove the vehicle for about 5 miles, drove OK. No lights came on . Is this a problem that can strand me on the road with a major failure or will it go into a limp home mode?
