Induction injection cleaning at 30,000 miles necessary

What is your question?

We went for our first oil change on our 2015 Buick Encore at the dealership. It was suggested that we should get this done, at the tune of $240. We did not say anything about it having any problems like pickup or gas mileage. It is still under the Buick warranty and we feel that we don't want to cut corners and have something go because we are not following whats suppose to be done. You thoughts.

What makes this problem better or worse?
