Why is my 2010 Enclave surge up while accelerating up hill?

Recently my 2010 enclave has started surging while driving. It is worse when going up any slight incline causing it to jump 200-400 RPM for a few seconds then quit for a few seconds even up to a minute, but does the same thing repeatedly while on the incline. ANy help appreciated.

What makes this problem better or worse?

Letting off accelerator makes better.

How long has your 2010 Buick Enclave had this problem?
