What is your question?
This happens every time I start my car. I have a '04 Buick Century V6 3.1L. The gauge says it's running hot but it's in the dead winter. It only ran for 2 minutes and the gauge says it's running hot. I have changed the thermostat, water pump, O2 Sensor, upstream&downstream, and the Engine Temperature Sensor. I don't have any leaks not any noises. It does not blow out heat. I have tried all I know. What else would cause my car temperature light to come on in 2minutes and in the dead winter?
What makes this problem better or worse?
When the temperature light comes on, a second later the Traction light comes on and slows the car.
How long has your 2004 Buick Century had this problem?
Since Dec. 26, 2017

This could be a gauge issue or an air pocket. What temperature are the two heater hoses going to the heater core when you have no heat?
Have a *professional* connect a *real scanner* to the vehicle so engine temperature readings can be viewed on live data screen - then the readings can be compared to the gauge. Find out what the problem is by TESTING!
