What would cause vehicle to not idle after replacing TPS

Possible incorrect initial diagnosis (code does NOT always equal a part!!!!!!) OR faulty part/incorrect installation?"OBD" is still giving faulty TPS reading , as in a DTC , or you can scan live data and the TPS does not respond properly when tested? HOW are you doing the install? Adjusting how?
