I have the sensor, I'm just having hard time finding exactly where it goes. Where I thought if went wasnt right.

what is the engine size?
2001 Buick Century was equipped with 3.1L V/6 .. With dual crankshaft position sensors.
Also CPS 2 is located on side of engine block firewall side - difficult to access even with vehicle hoisted.. This one is the round body sensor held in place by one bolt. https://youtu.be/GE4XD_Zj4F4
