what is gap on sparks plug

i have a 1994 buick century 3100 sfi v 6 engine i have a oil leake on top of my engine can you tell me ware could the oil be leaking from. from morrissette dinkins

why does car back fire and will not run good...like it is not getting too much gas or not enough.
