Engine stop running when this happens?.. What "certain way" exactly are you shutting the trunk that makes the engine recover??? Standing on one foot, slamming the trunk, jump up and holler s--t then push on the left side???? Need more input!..

Pretty much,what you said it's just that crazy,if I hit a bump to hard while driving or shut the trunk to hard ,the car still runs but the accelerator,stops working in the middle of driving until I slam the trunk lightly then it starts back working,someone says it could be a ground wire.
