The BMW doesn't tell you to replace anything. It will tell you that you need to have testing done. A technician analyzing the vehicle can't figure it out -- so you'll have to find another technician to place your trust in to determine what is wrong. Lastly, it's not the best idea to continue driving the vehicle when the cause of the concern remains unknown.
