Hi there. Can anyone help? I have a 2000 750il BMW it was jump started wrong
What is your question?
the leads were crossed the wrong way.It started and ran on id say 4 cylinders like a hairy pig.then trans failsafe and abs lights came up.It had no throttle response then died now wont start. Please help love driving the v12.The bet
It needs to be tested to see how many modules are shorted. When voltage and ground are reversed, it will normally short the modules, and they will have to be repaired/replaced and reprogrammed for it to perform properly.
Good luck, I have repaired many vehicles that had been reversed, and hopefully yours is older with less issues. Had a '07 Cadillac once and replaced 8 modules with 21hrs of labor.
Very true. Its hard to trust mechanics these days they could tell people anything and without proof it's hard to trust them.Im in New Zealand and the BMW specs here are very good but hugely expensive. It may end up cheaper to wreck my baby or wait ten years until its parts become cheaper.
RepairPal Certified shops can diagnose and repair your 2000 BMW 750iL. They provide transparent pricing with a minimum 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty on repairs and services.
Thank you ill get that done.

Oh Crap that's not a cheap fix.Im hoping its not going to be to expensive.
Get an estimate first, and even more then one. Not a fly by night place with a cheaper estimate, then hit you for extras.

That's good realization, never know but I bet you'll make the right decision. Happy Trails from the Lone Star State.
