no radio,no navigation,no illumination on either,could secrurity system cause

Your anti-theft system could cause the problem if it thinks it's in theft mode but sounds more like your battery to me or like the guy above me said your dashboard accessory fuse could have blown which is a cheap simple fix. Does the car start?
