I guess you mean the ECM (engine control module) as the brain box. If I'm correct, the ECM is covered under warranty for 8 years or 80,000 miles. What is bad about it the brain box?

Only problem is, can it be conformed that's ALL it needs???? IF you can't test drive... Best walk away!!
