Burglar alarm goes off when car is parked and locked (for no known reason). We've tried spraying wd40 on all latches but this has not helped. Any suggestions?

usually wd-40 works.when you spray the crap out of them.you either have a switch that is barely making or is stuck open.that's why the lights come on and the alarm is going off later.it thinks the door is being open.most likely the drivers door,it's used more than any other door.that switch is most likely a dealer item only, but i will do some looking if you would like me to.also did you open and close the doors several times after spraying them to try and free up the switch?
I tried the doors a couple of times so I will try several times to see if that helps. Is there a "switch" that I should be looking for - I only sprayed the latches? Appreciate your help very much - thank you.
they are hidden.you can't see them.just try spraying them again where the latch catches in the door jamb, the switches are behind the panel.
I will try this again in the morning. Thank you very much!

After two weeks of extensive lubrication, we are still having problems with the alarm going off and the interior lights going on. We are planning on replacing the sensor to solve the issue. We actually live in southern Alberta, Canada so we will try to find the switch here.
ok.well that usually works, but sometimes the switch/switches do go bad.good luck with it.
