What is your question?
Irregular acceleration pauses, stumbles. Engine seems to run smoothly when at constant RPM, but "stumbles" during hard acceleration, and when "lugging" the engine (accelerating in higher gears). Working with my mechanic, we have replaced the VANOS cellunoids, and a coil on cylinder 6 (which was showing a misfire code) but this new code showed up (2AAB - Variable Intake Self Diagnosis). So I'm wondering if that's related to the condition I'm experiencing?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Seems better when engine is cold
How long has your 2007 BMW 530xi had this problem?
Had the problem for a month or so.

Due to the complexity's of today's vehicles, the vast majority of owners or DIYer's do not possess the proper diagnostic equipment nor the knowledge and training that's required to effectively and successfully perform their own automobile troubleshooting / repair. Therefore it is highly recommended to seek professional *hands-on* assistance with this issue as that tends to be the most cost effective and reliable solution.. Unfortunately It is impossible for us here 'online' to determine what the actual failure is.. We could post a 'list' of the possibilities - however that isn't going to help due to the fact the same diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting knowledge is still going to be required before a logical repair strategy can be obtained.
