My radio face display is losing visual integrity.

Letters and numbers breaking up but plays great. To replace just the radio and face,not DVDs or outer dash cover BMW wants(are you sitting?) $ 2,400.00 !!! Any suggestions?

don't know of any.good car,but ANYTHING you have done to this car is gonna be from several hundred to a few thousand dollars.
