Car won't accelerate after a car wash

My car won't accelerate after having a car wash,then it works again after a little while,do i need to take it somewhere?

Did someone happen to raise the hood and deliberately spray water onto the engine and into the engine bay ? I don’t know of a repair solution for water intrusion - there’s no protocol. Good luck!
