Fuel Filter

I worked in BMW specialty shop for quite a while and we used to replace the filter every 30k or every service II. I know that the dealer and factory manual sings a different tune, but they want to sell more cars and more parts as in fuel pumps etc. It is not in their best interest to have their BMW's go for 200k with out lots of new parts being installed

the fuel filter is about $20 bucks and they'll probably charge you $200 to change it! But this is the easiest thing to change yourself, its underneath the driver side dooron the frame jack your car up and its right their, seriously roll your sleeves up and get in their and do it, you will appreciate your car more!
