I just purchased my BMW 325xi. I know the chassis number is E-90, but I don't have the Engine designation for the 3.0. I haven't been able to find it. Can you help??
RepairPal Certified shops can diagnose and repair your 2006 BMW 325xi. They provide transparent pricing with a minimum 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty on repairs and services.
This engine is an N52 designation but is a "detuned" version. In actuality, both the N52B25 and N52B30 are literally the same engines mechanically, but programming, intake manifold and other differences change the power output. A few oil leaks, and waterpump/thermostats are the extent of these issues on the NG6 variant engines and are relatively solid, as long as you change the oil every 7500 miles.
great I really appreciate it. I don't actually have any problems but just looking to find the weak spots in it. What would be the difference??
Engine displacement is all.
