I am not very sure we have to open it up and look what's needed inside when you take the timing chain off give and take roughly I will say 1200 - 1500. Definitely I would recommend to bring the car in to confirm if you have the timing chain or timing belt does make different
I would definitely want to take a look at the vehicle....I would want to verify everything before giving a quote for something like that...Give us a call and we can set up an appointment to look at it. My phone number is 847 352 2886...Please feel free to call us during our business hours which are from 8 am to 6 pm....Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you...
you need to call around and/or find you a local,, trusted, independent repair shop that works on import cars of this type and knows if your car has a belt or a chain on it,which yours does have a BELT,and not a CHAIN! don't know how long you have had it,but the belt/water pump and components needs to be changed at/or before the recommended interval per your owners manual. also, DON'T let just any shop work on your car!!! here is a video on a 2001. it takes the same belt that yours takes and IS NOT a DIY JOB!!! copy and paste the link, watch video.................................................................................
