2006 Audi a3
How long has your 2006 Audi A3 had this problem?
Every since I hit a curb

Really not a common enough problem for specific diagnostics .. Can't say what might have happened in the accident.
I talked to you the other day about my 2006 audi a3 2.0 not wanting to start after I hit a curb and it stuck in park. Well since I talked to you , I put a new battery on it and it started right up, but it ran for a while and died again and would not start. I disconnected the battery and let it set over night and reconnected it the next day and it started right up again and ran about ten minutes and died again, so I disconnected the battery again and let it set over night again and reconnected it again and it started up again, do you have any suggestions?
Would you have any idea of where to start ? When I hit the curb all it did was blow out the tire and the car died, I put it in park and now it won't come out of park or start! The panel lights up but there are no sounds of ignition
The only recommendation I can make is TESTING ‘all’ of the fuses. Key needs to be on while TESTING fuses using a 12 volt test light - may need car repair savvy help.
Would you know how to get it out of park the transmission is locked up?
The shifter interlock ‘must’ have battery power to release the shifter .. TESTING the fuses is the first thing that needs to be done! Here is a link to a video that may help. https://youtu.be/XrbgY4NQR4g Good luck!
