Looking for a fix engine code P0685

What is your question?

My 2004 Acura TSX has 176,000 miles. On odometer The engine light came on and the code was P0685. Code translation is “Generic ECM/PCM power relay control circuit open” . What is this and what is real problem and what is the fix . I also noticed that since light came on that the engine is also idling much slower than usual. Have stopped driving the car until a diagnosis and fix is made .

What makes this problem better or worse?
