What is your question?
I bought an used 2005 Acura TL, aware of rear loud noise, felt like due to patch-or-cup wear on 2 rear tires. I replaced the rear tires (while the 2 front tires were 70% new), and did all 4 alignment and balancing. After ~5000 miles, the rear tires noise is coming back gradually. Something wrong about rear suspension ? How to fix it ? in what sequence ? should I ... - first, get 4 new tires and balanced (at Costco) - find a tire shop to do all 4 alignment and balancing, plus suspension check/fix ? - would the tire shop care about to see my all 4 worn out tires (if so, I need to ask Costco to save them for me) Thanks

Find (by word of mouth) a quality 'independent' tire shop that also does alignments - they will be able to diagnose and repair this problem.. Do not go to a major - big name tire store!
Tire cupping is typically caused by weak shock absorbers. This would explain why the noise went away when the tires were new, but is now slowing coming back. Weak shocks allow your tires to "dribble" as you drive, which causes the scalloping/cupping wear pattern. Rub your had over the flat of your tire. If you notice that it feels smooth going one direction and more rough in the opposite then your new tires are starting to scallop and I would recommend your next repair be to replace both rear shocks with GENUINE HONDA/ACURA parts. -Laura, owner P R Motorsports
