My car won't let me go over 3,000 RPMs and drive 5 drive for Drive 3 1st 2nd and and sports mode

What is your question?

After I put it in sports mode it will not let my RPMs go over 3000 to 3500 RPMs and that's in Drive 5 Drive 4 and drive 3

What makes this problem better or worse?

I unhook my battery for the night and plug it back up in the morning and I haven't put it in sports mode since plugging the battery back
