What is your question?
I listen to books on CD. Sometimes when I switch from radio to CD it acts like it will start to read it, takes forever and then starts playing. Other times it just never reads the CD. On the radio, I can scan to find the local stations and 9 times out of 10 there will only be 2 or 3 stations that will come in clear when I know there should be more.

I have only tried playing store bought CD's.
Replace stereo! .. Google > Crutchfields .. better unit and cheaper than repair.
So are you thinking that would fix the radio issue as well?
Yep, suspect radio tuner as well.. I'm telling you from experenced that Crutchfields is the way to go!
Ok, thanks! Didn't know that could happen. I was thinking antenna bad, but didn't know where it was located.
Stereo is getting old and tired, like myself.. Replacement is far better than fooling with that unit.. Crutchfields got ANYTHING you need and superior tech support for a perfect install .. Can't beat em!
Sounds good. Thanks again!
You bet!
