What is your question?
I know for sure that the material they used is defective. Even my service counselor at Acura said so when I brought in my 2014 RLX. He said it occurs in 05 to 07. I look inside every RL that has the same body as mine and have seen at least 4. My son's friend is the same. Of course there is no recall for this. The 2014 RLX is probably the last Acura I'll be driving.

Just to put things in perspective---- Whatever 'glovebox' melting is happening , has it caused any SAFETY concerns or accidents , that you are aware of ?? RECALLS are for safety concerns NOT cosmetic/appearance issues. They maybe should have a 'product update' or 'service bulletin' issued , if they (Honda/Acura) determine that it is a common enough problem to warrant being addressed.
My 2008 has done it.. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10207016803644094&set=a.1416414455937.2060180.1399860254&type=3 We need a class action lawsuit!
My 2010 RL has the same problem. The Glove box is a different material than the dashboard and everything else on the interior, much softer than everything else I assume because of Knees of passenger in front seat could hit it in a crash. But it is very ugly and sticky when it gets touched with slight pressure by something.
