Thaks for the hlp.
But this is not manual but auto transmission Is your info from a guide or personal experience.
Was quoted 9.5 hrs labor about $1,000 from a local shop.
Which seems high.
Would an auto be significantly more than a manual transmission to do?
Thanks for the input. Know any guys in my area that share your level of knowledge for the car that do repairs? I'm in Houston central near downtown.
Maybe you can help on this matter too. The car failed the dyno test recently for inspection had the cat converter replaced and still
failed. The 02 sensor was replaced about 4 yrs ago.So only item to replace is the EGR valve presumably.
Or do you have another suggestion. Think it failed for High NO2.
I'm 5 hours away from you , and I don't know anyone there. I know a guy in Corpus that use to work for me, but the only suggestion I could suggest is to try the Find a Shop for down there. I have friends in Sugarland, Beaumont and others but they are fellow pilots and we don't discuss car repair.
