What is your question?
I was leaving work after I had gotten a tornado warning, it was dark and I had literally just started my car and maybe got halfway down this short road when I hit a puddle. I didn't even have time to realize what happened when the car slowly stalled out and I coasted onto the curb. When I came back the next day to take the spark plugs out and try to get the water out, it wouldn't start. After having some guys look at it and try to help me, we sucked the water out of the cylinders, replaced the starter that was indeed bad, and manually cranked it. It cranks, then gets really tight. The engine has turned over a couple of times, but still wont fully start. My friend's dad says it sounds like it's seizing by the flywheel/clutch. We're gonna try to take it apart and perhaps replace the clutch. I just put new spark plugs/spark plug wires in today before work but I need a jump. I don't have the money to take it to a shop, I don't know what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
How long has your 2000 Acura Integra had this problem?
Two weeks
I will add IF the engine is difficult to rotate a full revolution ‘manually’ with all spark plugs removed - there may be internal engine damage resulting from hydrolock.. This can actually bend or even break connecting rods.
