What is your question?
I was driving my car and it died on me I thought it was something wrong with my fuel line but it seemed to be running fine so I had an out of work mechanic look ate it and he said it is my rocker arms and it needed to be replaced.

Sounds like a good reason he's an "out of work mechanic", could you describe with a bit more detail , the conditions when it 'died on you? Driving on highway (55-65+ mph) or parking lot? Had the check engine light been on for a while? ANY recent service? WHY did he SPECIFY 'rocker arms' and not the timing belt? How many miles on the engine? Has anyone at all , actually done a PHYSICAL inspection of the engine , to VERIFY what is really happening? ALL questions to ask , before dumping money into a lost cause on an "out of work mechanic", or ANY mechanic , for that matter. Good luck.
