Overheating

(2003 Ford Excursion)
Engine idols does not overheat.drive it 2 to 3 miles overheats.I have replaced radiator,All hoses,Water Pump,Fan clutch,Thermostat.and have now had the engine replaced with a Ford Crate engine that came with a new oil cooler.Still doing the same thing. HELP

Have you confirmed the gauge is reading the correct temperature as compared to a 'real' scanners live data reading? A/C condenser fins straight and clear of debris?

Yes with digital IR thermometer Very good question about AC condenser.We discussed it but need to check closer.Also I have questioned the Intake but not sure how to check.As that is the only part of the old engine left??What are your thoughts on that?
