Overheating

(1995 Isuzu Pickup)
I drive 4-5 miles and it starts reving up and down,then it overheats. I've replaced thermostat,cap,water pump, radiator hoses, timming belt,fan clutch,by pass heater core, still not helping
What seems to make the problem better or worse? Nothing helps
How long have you had this problem? 4 months

Engine reviving up / down is indicative of LOW COOLANT LEVEL..

Possibly air trapped in cooling system - - possibly combustion entering cooling system.

*Hands-on* testing will be required.
