Note > IF auto shift - The radiator IS equipped with an internal transmission fluid cooler .. IF this cooler ruptures - transmission fluid will be pumped into the radiator .. Subsequently - coolant can migrate back into the transmission as well..

Your Firebird is equipped with an overhead valve engine as opposed to an overhead cam engine - no oil *under pressure* is being pumped through the cylinder heads near the water jacket passages - it is very unlikely engine oil is getting into the radiator .. Recommend having local auto repair shop check this out for you. Good luck with it!

Radiator replacement is the only fix - However it needs to be confirmed that the cooler has indeed ruptured .. Repair shop should be equipped to pressure test the fluid system as well as the cooling system.
