Off set steering and BA ESP and slip indicator lights on dash come on

Plus the cruise control does not work when lights come on.. Switch off - restart car - ok for 5 or 6 miles then all on again. What is the issue?

There is a problem in the *steering angle sensor* also called a 'clock spring' .. It may just need to be reset .. It may need to be replaced .. Hands-on testing by qualified personnel is required to determine.
