MY KEY WON'T UNLOCK MY DOOR AND MY BATTERY IS DEAD

What is your question?

This is the 3rd time that I want out to my car and my key won't let me in. Called a tow truck and they got it open but it needed to be jumped to start. I have a brand new battery have had it checked by a mechanic and nothing found. Starter and alternator are good as well. I need to know what else it could be. Please help

You’re saying the manual key will not unlock the drivers door UNLESS the battery has enough voltage? I refuse to believe any vehicle manufacturer would produce such a useless mechanism..

Since this has occurred more than once - seems to be a good time to have the vehicle repaired by qualified personnel.. Good luck!
