I have been adding about a quart every other time I fill it with gas. The check engine light is always on, but it blinks and misfires on acceleration, sometime deceleration and while climbing hills. Any idea on a fix. The car has 108,000.

The fix , would be to have the 'blinking' (doing damage) check engine light properly diagnosed and deal with needed repairs as necessary. The response below , might be a good option.
Probably need to take a look at it to be helpful. Could be plugs, fuel injectors, a primary input etc. The oil consumption is either a clogged breather system, worn valve guides/rings, leaks or a combination of all three. If you would like, you can give me a call and we can discuss it further.
