My 1993 Toyota pickup won’t start.it just clicks when I turn the key

Contacts have worn out inside the starter motor - they can be replaced rather easily - no need to purchase a new starter! IF you keep trying it should eventually crank the engine - unless the contacts have worn completely out. Common failure with the Toyota starter motors - however it doesn’t occur that frequently.
