Thank you kindly, I can hear a light "clicking" noise from that area when I engage the third speed of the fan. An unrelated question, why does Ford put a 20 lb cap on a cooling system with a two (plastic) piece glued together thermostat housing? And its well known the bottom radiator tank (plastic) gives it up aswell. Does anyone make a HD radiator for the 4.0 V6? I ordered my truck with the tow package and I feel Ford missed the mark on engineering an adequate long lived cooling system.
Could not agree more! All makes are like this nowadays. I don't know of a HD radiator but i bet you can get one. Google it or maybe someone else can help.
