Fluids on garage floor by drivers front tire.

Hello, The power steering rack and pinion connections are located near that position, so it may be as simple as a leak at the connection for the high and low pressure lines. However, the boot for the rack and pinion is located closer to the wheel than the connections are, and if the boot is leaking fluid, the leak is coming from within the rack and pinion. If you cannot see the location of the leak, or if the leak appears to be the rack and pinion itself, have it checked out to ensure you don't replace the rack and pinion steering gear unnecessarily.
