Just cleaned out my engine due to sludge buildup

Cleaned engine due to sludge buildup , removed cylinder heads and cleaned Removed oil pans, the lifter, cleaned all spotless Reassembled all ,put in new synthetic oil Nulan 10W-40 ,started up after a few minutes there was grinding noise coming from the RH cylinder head shut down engine.I am thinking is it the oil or could it be the oil pump, did not remove and clean the pump . Could somebody in lighten me on this Thanyou
