Is it necessary to get the brake fluid and timing belt changed at 58000 miles.

Brakes were squeaking. Garage cleaned them and changed flushed the brake lines. They also said that the timing belt is scheduled for replacement

the timing belt on this car is very important to replaace at 60k miles,if the belt breaks it will cause bent valves and will cost approx 2000.00 to repair.yes very important on this car
