interior lights will not turn off

most likely one of the door jamb/ajar switches is stuck,making your car think one of the doors is open..you can't see the switch because it is part of the door latch on the door..spray a generous amount of WD-40 in/on the latch..open and close the door(s)several times to free up the stuck switch..do all the doors,although it's probably the drivers door because it's used lots more than the others..make sure your dome light is not set to ON(should be set to door) ,if so this will make the lights stay on all the time also!
