Hello, The d4 light flashing is the warning light for the transmission . The warning light along with the speedometer not working usally indicates that the vehicle speed sensor is not working . The speed sensor is located on the top of the transmission and mounts on vertically .

Have scanned for codes , to avoid wasting money on unnecessary parts. May be a wiring issue.
