What is your question?
The inside light keeps flickering on and off. I replaced the alternator and battery per when this happened before that is what I was told it was. The lights are still flickering on and off and it runs the battery down. The cruise control also acts funny and speeds up at certain times. The abs control and various lights flicker on and off. I took it to the Jeep dealership in Greenville and they advised that I would have to wait until the car stopped working per when they hooked it up to a machine it didn't give a reading anything was wrong. Lastly, the inside car light only comes on when I open the door. It no longer works when I try to turn it on.
What makes this problem better or worse?
When the air condition is worse, when I go up a hill
How long has your 2014 Jeep Patriot had this problem?

For a full diagnosis a repair shop is needed however, you can run it over to a local parts store for a battery and alternator check. They do this for free and it will at least tell you if there is a smoking gun type issue like a totally bad battery or alternator. Alex
Typical symptoms of an intermittently failing charging system .. Try local auto repair facility.
â–ªï¸https://repairpal.com/repair-shopsâ–ªï¸ Probably need to leave vehicle at the shop a couple days for thorough testing. 'Intermittent failures' can be difficult to find.
I just spent almost 700.00 getting the alternator and battery replaced. I was told that the flickering lights were an indication of a bad alternator. The lights are still flickering as well as the other problems I indicated above. I took it to the dealership in and they advised that nothing was wrong and that I would have to wait for it to completely stop for them to diagnose. The basically said the machine to test it wasn't reading anything.
